- Citizens At-Risk Registration
- The Citizens at Risk (C.A.R.) program is designed to allow residents who may be at a greater risk of becoming confused, lost, disoriented, or missing to be registered with the Oswego Police prior to an emergency. Utility Information
Electricity
Electricity is provided by ComEd. Contact ComEd at www.comed.com.
The Village of Oswego is proud to offer 100% renewable energy for our residents through our electricity aggregation program. While ComEd provides transmission, your electric supply is supplied by our partner MC2 for the same price as ComEd’s energy supply, but also supports renewable, locally produced wind and solar energy. Your bill will still come from ComEd. You may opt out of this program at any time. Visit our Electricity Aggregation program page for more information.
Natural Gas
Natural gas service is provided by NICOR and is billed every month. Contact NICOR at www.nicorgas.com.
Water
Water service is provided by the Village of Oswego. Call our Utility Billing Dept. with questions regarding your usage or bill amount at 630-554-2282. Call our Public Works Dept. with questions regarding water quality or service problems 630-554-3242.
Sewer
Sewage is treated by the Fox Metro Water Reclamation District and is a separate bill from your water bill. Fox Metro bills every other month. Contact Fox Metro at www.foxmetro.org.
Garbage & Recycling
Curbside garbage and recycling is provided by Groot, the Village of Oswego’s contracted waste hauler. You are billed for refuse services on your water bill.
