Special Events Permit
We're thrilled that you're considering hosting an event in our vibrant community. Whether it's a wedding, birthday party, festival or concert, we're here to help make your vision a reality.
Keep in mind that, it's unlawful to conduct or operate any special event which is open to the public, without having first secured a permit. The term “special event” includes, but not limited to, festivals, block parties, concerts, rallies, races, parades, marches, walk-a-thons, dances, public shows, circuses, carnivals, and other special events in the village.
The special event permit fee shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each private application processed; and fifty dollars ($50.00) for each public application and Venue 1012 rental application processed. The application fee is separate from other fees or costs which may be incurred as a result of specific services provided by the village.
Special event applications shall be completed and returned with the application fee and other required information at least eight (8) weeks prior to the proposed date of the event. Applications for use of Venue 1012 will require the application to be completed and returned with the application fee a minimum of twelve (12) weeks prior to the proposed date(s) of the event.
