OPD BuildingThe Oswego Police Department proudly serves the Village of Oswego, a warm and welcoming community of more than 35,000 persons spread over an area of 15 square miles. The Department remains progressive and an innovative law enforcement agency, possessing strong values that emphasize ethical behavior, principled decision-making, commitment to serving the community and an appreciation for diversity. The organization is extremely proud to be nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, reflecting the commitment of the Department to constantly improve the quality of service provided to the citizens of Oswego.

You may also call the KenCom dispatch center 24 hours a day, seven days a week for non-emergency police services. KenCom also answers both 911 and cellular 911 within Kendall County for all emergency services.

Administrative Office hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday thru Friday.

Lobby and Records Hours of Operation

The Oswego Police Department lobby is open to the public for service from 7:00am to 11:00pm Monday through Friday. The lobby is closed on the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Day After Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
