In a joint effort to promote child seat safety, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, the Oswego Police Department, Oswego Fire Protection District, and AutoSmart are proud to announce our third Annual Car Seat Safety Check Event, aimed at ensuring the safety of young passengers in our community. This event will take place on Saturday September 21, 2024, from 9am until 1pm at the Oswego Fire Station 1, located at 3511 Woolley Rd.

Car accidents remain a leading cause of injury among children, and properly installed car seats play a critical role in reducing the risk. The Car Seat Safety Check Event is part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing child passenger safety and promoting responsible parenting.

Certified car seat technicians will be on hand to inspect and properly install car seats, ensuring they meet current safety standards.
