The Administrative Adjudication Hearing is a non-criminal hearing that is for all Village Ordinance Violations. A person is not found "guilty or not guilty", but rather "liable or not liable". This type of violation does not go on a driving record since it is a civil violation. There is an attorney that acts as the hearing officer who has been certified to conduct the hearings. The hearing officer will listen to each violator and ask questions pertinent to the violation. The hearing officer will find the violator liable or not liable based on the evidence submitted.

The fine amount is dependent on the Village Ordinance Fine Schedule based on the classification of the violation and can range from $25.00 to $750.00.
